With ancient archetypes and contemporary curiosity at its core, Dream Catcher – a sculptural light play balances two roles equally: the role of illumination, and the role of sculptural presence. This main character mobile gives a sophisticated yet graphic twist to its given space – with a unique look from every angle. Through its futuristic combination of earth-inspired elements, the lamp plays with light, shape, air, and its surroundings.

The elements

The Dream Catcher consists of two boomerangs, a mirrored cylinder, and a decorative glass element. The boomerangs serve as illuminated elements, continuously interacting with the decor components: The semi-transparent glass allows light to pass through, while the mirrored surface of the cylinder reflects it – creating dynamic rays of light.

Dream Catcher Arc

To make Dream Catcher suitable for multiple spaces, the design is executed in two sizes and combinations. Dream Catcher Arc includes one small and two large boomerangs, and takes up extra space in spacious rooms, with hospitality areas in mind.

Dream Catcher Bow

The scaled-down version, Dream Catcher Bow, is created with one large boomerang and two small ones.

The lamp is designed by the Milan-based studio Studiopepe, founded by longtime friends Chiara Di Pinto and Arianna Lelli Mami. Known for its multidisciplinary approach, the studio moves between interior and product design with a strong focus on storytelling and craftsmanship. “When we envision a new project, we imagine its environment, its home, and its people,” says Chiara Di Pinto. “We want to be as sculptural and graphic as possible – an approach that comes alive through Dream Catcher.”

"A lucky charm in motion"

Arianna Lelli Mami describes Dream Catcher as “a sculptural, moveable mobile – a lucky charm inspired by the dreamcatcher, peaceful and playful by nature.” For Maja Norburg, Creative Director at Pholc, the collaboration was about merging Scandinavian minimalism with Studiopepe’s bold expression.
